We’ve just got the figures through for the number of people who turned out to vote in the election.
There were 538,659 verified ballots cast across Greater Manchester, that's out of 2,142,779 eligible to take part.
That works out at just over one in four people voting - 25.14%.
The last mayoral election in 2024 had a turnout of almost one in three - 32.05%. So the numbers are down about 7%.
