One has to realize that "expressing your humanity and POV" happens even if you draw the same generic dragons for money, because the expression of your humanity and POV is in the *process* of creating the artwork of the dragon, not the dragon itself.
Seth Rutledge"Art" these days means very different things to people. For many, it's something they can contribute to the TTRPG / video game / animation / tv industries - NOT something to express their humanity and POV. They don't want to talk about the human condition, they want to get paid to paint dragons.
