We as a society have to stop treating self-defense like it's some sort of inalienable "right." It's not. Just because you're being attacked doesn't mean your life is somehow worth more than that of your "attacker."

This is it. This is one of the top 5 worst takes I've seen on this website. "You shouldn't be allowed to defend yourself from someone who wants to harm you" that's the type of shit that a rapist or an authoritarian jackass would say.
