It was actually nuts to me when people were like "this is how Disney should be doing these remakes, Dreamworks W!" when it was the exact same shit as Disney's remakes but it LOOKS like the original in it's designs and didn't change any visuals so that makes it DIFFERENT somehow :/
Birthday Goblin-King, DeeThis is proven with the How to Train Your Dragon life action remake. It's a bad remake, but everyone glossed over it because the CGI Dragons look good. But it's just an exact retelling of the first movie, word for word, bar for bar. Some jokes don't even hit as hard because they're not animated.
