Some of these so called newspapers are effectively well paid PR agencies for oil companies. I’m old enough to remember when the telegraph was a newspaper. A slightly mad right wing newspaper, but one with journalistic integrity.

I wonder if Telegraph "journalists" have to sign an undertaking never to buy or use alternatively fuelled goods or services, ignoring cost as well responsibility? There's an opening for an electricity supplier (falsely) claiming exclusively carbon sourced Watts at a premium price!

They hate the idea of mitigation and de-growth but love adaptation, that's a fossil fuel intensive growth industry.

I still find it ironic after all this time that the Telegraph was one of the first UK papers to have an environmental correspondent, who was even sent to cover Eco 92 in Rio. How things have changed.
