One of the toughest part of event photography is deciding when to stick around in hopes that a good photo opportunity will come along. Sticking around for an entire run or for milestones completions meant I got some awesome shots but who knows what you missed out on elsewhere (cont.)

Conversely, there are times when you stick around but then nothing happens or like friday night went we were hoping the $2mil milestone would get hit but it didn't happen. It's times like those where I'm truly grateful to be working on a team and can cover for each other.

The MSF mini-doc was really powerful moment and the photo team quickly agreed that this one of those rare moments that didn't need to be captured. bsky.app/profile/fish...

On a more serious note, after Sent's final official prize segment, the interstitial team all came over and many tears were shed. While I did take photos of it happening, (the group photo made it into the album) you come to realize sometimes there are moments that are best left private.

I say it every event but we have a really good team of photographers that are consistently coming to events now and it's always great to see them all growing and practicing their craft! It's so easy to coast now that we're doing well but I still need to find ways to push myself to improve as well!
