it's also prophesied in the Iliad and imo foreshadowed by setting Astyanax's big scene at the walls of Troy, so his being thrown from the walls is part of the Homeric story. (I'm being pedantic only because the Astyanax stuff and its inverse parallel with Iphigenia really hits hard for me)
