there's a very meaningful and very powerful difference between someone telling you to read Chomsky essays and being linked a video with some kind of comment about how "this is what mainstream media isn't telling us, it really makes you think huh?"

i think this is very true but legitimately a very simple black and white story with a hero and a villain is very very simple and campism seems like a strong default in the sphere that must be constantly countered
