You CAN do it and its not that painful, but it will take some time and patience. Small steps... which device do you want to free up (android, apple, windows, etc)?

Appreciate it J. The biggest personal obstacle is patience, I get frustrated with it. Currently just focused small on web based behaviour changes (search and browser, then moving email) on Android and Mac. Linux will be next but I gotta stretch my patience in app based changes before hitting OS.

Some components like Drive and Chrome are definitely a lot easier to find a friendly alternative for than others like Android.

100% I don't want to over value personal accountability because that idea has been weaponized against us. But I also don't want to shirk personal responsibility and fall into techno-nihilism "who cares" because that's also been weaponized against us. 🫠
