Idk I’ve seen plenty of people that live under a rock with a desire to create and they create a lot of uninspired crap. Or people without creativity just consume and make nothing or do something derivative or uninteresting. I find having a diverse well of inspiration and knowledge to be important

actually now i think it just trying to do the same thing over and over again and learning from your mistakes. Creativity is a skill like drawing.

Wise (although there is something to be said for knowing the "state of the art" in any genre you are working in, simply to avoid replicating what is already out there)
