yeah it's actually not a free country if anybody can kill you anywhere any time for any or no reason at all.

And, to be clear: I absolutely *do not* think I’m some sort of special exception here. No one should trust me, or you, or anyone, with this kind of violence on tap.

I’ve never met someone who I would trust to just wander about the city with a gun for a whole day. (Yes, I’ve met cops. I said what I said).
