haldeman! yes he is! I remember reading that he and gordon were kind of at odds with each other, the bones of something more serious are definitely still in there, and considering the budget the production design etc really aren't bad, it's just not all in one piece at the end of the day

He was very good natured about it. I think the money sort of soothed the whole thing. Then we went on to critique his book covers.

haha! whatever happened with adapting forever war? seen so many names attached over time, still think they could do it pretty well now, even as like a prestige series or something

Don't even get me started on that. Ridley Scott cannot die soon enough. Making garbage while sitting on that option. Meanwhile the aforementioned author collects option payments at least.

When I was a kid my godmother lived in Hong Kong and flew my mum & I out to visit and I saw this on TV while I was there and 1) it’s extremely bad & 2) I will always associate it with Hong Kong in my brain
