My daughter is a flight attendant. One of her first flights had deportees. She said it was traumatic. She said it broke her heart & no one knew what to do. This is not right. This is Nazi level hate. Children shouldn’t see their parents killed in front of them in 2026 in the USA! #Pinks

Such a difference from when I was a flight attendant and we were bringing refugees from other countries to America. Lots of them. The airline even provided “refugee meals” for them so they wouldn’t get sick on the plane.

At my airline, if you are otherwise physically fit, it is called refusal of assignment. It is a fireable offense.

Were your daughter's first flights during the Obama or Biden administration? You know that immigrants called Obama "President Deportation", don't you? And that he expanded ICE's powers. Then Biden set a ten-year record for most deportations in one year. Is Trump worse? Yes. But he didn't start it.

GW Bush started ICE. But it was limited to 12 districts in Texas. Obama expanded its activities to cover the whole of the USA. He gained his nickname, "President Deportation" because he deported more immigrants than his predecessors. And Biden outdid him. Cruelty is bipartisan.

No and does it matter? It's cruel regardless. And it's been cruel since the song Deportees was recorded in 1948. Immigration needed reform then and it needs it now. So I'm not going to compare past records, I'm going to push for new policies to treat people with dignity.
