The chuds have seized on a bit where, very early on in the pandemic, Fauci writes "looks like maybe the virus didn't start in the market". Is this really all they've got? They told us Fauci conspired with the Chines Communist Party to create Covid as a superweapon. He just left that out, I suppose.

It is a real "telling on yourself" moment. I am sure that Fauci is not totally unimpeachable (who is?), but they can't conceive of someone doing their best in difficult circumstances and not simply acting in their own venal interest
