You can’t hinge your belief in people having access to basic goods on whether or not they “deserve” them or they’re at “fault” for not having them. Just give people their basic goods.
But they do have to do that because those people are devoid of empathy (and should be dumped on a little island with all the other psychopaths and nothing else, so they can all see how a dog eat dog world really works)
I will admit it’s kinda insane to me that we are debating if all people are born equal like it isn’t the 2nd paragraph of the Declaration of Independence (you know, that Nic Cage movie…!!)
