But it's not that new, the Triquet dig started in 2017. When I was working archaeology in and around Philly we worked on several sites that were dated ~10K years old, the precursor people to the Lenai Lenape. Its still fascinating and an important dig, just not a new one.

Why is there shock and surprise? That's within the most conservative period for the human settlement of North America. (Newer evidence in Central/South America pushes it back up to 20,000 more years). My question: In BC, was this before or after the great Ice Age?
