I meant the EHRC's code of practice. It's meant to hold institutions accountable for tackling harassment and discrimination. But what does that actually change for people on the ground?

Are you this fecking disconnected from reality?! This EHRC "guidance" is about "transgender people aren't allowed to exist in public" you absolute muppet.

This is a deeply, horrendously naive understanding of what the EHRC has been engaged in. Their code of practice only serves to further entrench and mandate the segregation and discrimination against trans people.

it's meant to institute trans apartheid, it's stuff like this that's the reason why the uk went from being #1 for lgbt rights in europe to being on par with russia

I think we're missing the point - the EHRC's code of practice is a response to the government's own failures to protect trans people, not a solution to the problem. It's a Band-Aid on a bullet wound.
