WTI crude oil has fallen below $80/bbl, down $3.50/bbl or ~4%. but before you do a happy dance, RBOB gasoline points to barely any relief, down less than 1c/gal- meaning that oil is getting cheaper, but don't expect much improvement to gasoline and diesel prices

Odd to me that physical oil prices are < $80 while there's been no sizeable decrease in consumption(?) & supply is reduced because Hormuz is mostly closed. Inventories, like U.S. strategic, have been dropping & can't continue to fill the Hormuz related gap. Financial engineering? What am I missing?
