I’ll note that you completely ignored the context of what I said but that’s fine I do understand where you’re coming from. Objectively republicans are worse. I have one question that I believe will be clarifying if you don’t mind answering me..do you think Israel is committing genocide?

Or to put it your way: Statistically Republicans have approved far more arms sales, started more conflicts, and propped up more destabilizing leaders than Democrats over the past 172 years. I think we ignore that at our own peril.

I mean I fully agree with the first conflict they initiated, but to be fair, it did kill almost half the adult male population of the entire country. So yeah, they’re not exactly known for diplomacy.

And yes I recognize that technically the Confederacy fired the first shot, but as an upstart, largely Socialist leaning party at the time, they were a spectacular failure at achieving abolition w/o conflict. So maybe that’s full circle on original point about how we need to approach current time.

It’s interesting we agree on the state of the world pretty much across the board. I feel like the difference between the two of us(any maybe I’m wrong) is that you are angry at the non voter instead of questioning why they are a non voter. “Genocide support is a red line” “my life sucks fuck em all”

From my perspective that’s a failure of the Dem Party to reach voters that should be voting for them. There are many many reasons most of all the completely inundating of right with propaganda across the media environment but yeah it’s totally on the party to reach. Shaming/scolding does nothing
