My tooth had been cracked and repaired, then a root canal, then patching, now it's being dissolved from the root side by my body. Insurance won't pay for an implant ($6k), so I'll need a crown, but the tooth will still need to be pulled, leaving a space below the crown that can get infected easy. =(
