After the 2025 US aid cuts, the International Rescue Committee cut its Ebola operations in Ituri Province from five health zones to two. Ituri is now the epicenter of the second-largest Ebola outbreak on record. The US dissolved USAID and left the WHO. The response infrastructure is gone.
