BREAKING: Kansas asked the state Supreme Court to reinstate a law eliminating the three-day grace period for mail ballots after a lower court blocked the measure. If it rules in Kansas' favor before Election Day on Aug. 4, any mail ballots that arrive during the grace period would be tossed.
