Cannot believe the amount of time Sky Sports have put into Eddie Howe today. My days. Thank goodness - but he's not passed away or fallen off a ship while on a cruise. He's left a smallish club because they're run by amateurs and clowns. Prayers, God speed and all that - but he is actually ok. 🙃

The owners took control back from Howe after he and his nephew ran the transfer window last year after pushing out Mitchell. Howe contributed to his own downfall. Why did Newcastle wait now to hire a new head coach? The team could have a proper preseason with the new head coach.

They have apparently been trying to hire a replacement for weeks, but have been getting turned down 😂
