Even the left in America seem to have a superiority complex. It’s why I don’t hold much hope of a reconciliation even after Trump. They really don’t like or particularly care for non-Americans
A lot of them also can't seem to move beyond the inherent USAnian hyper-individualist worldview. They blame 'capitalism', but the US model of capitalism is an outgrowth of that baked-in individualist attitude.
