Some day, the technical people of the world will think of some way of harnessing wind & the Sun to make energy. Just imagine all that potential. It hardly ever runs out as well. Just renews itself. Hey here's a thought, we could call it Renewable Energy. That would be cool.😁😁😁

The cutbacks in nuclear power production are only a small percentage of the total. Solar fails to produce every day when the sun goes down, wind often fails to produce for days, sometimes weeks at a time.

People say the same thing about renewables in winter when their output falls to 2-5%. We need both sources, as a matter of fact we need all low carbon dispatchable sources. By the way, Hungarian NPP is being throttled due to heat wave for the first time in history.

Not in Czechia and Slovakia, even though our NPPs are on comparatively tiny rivers. Maybe it could be because flow through cooling is an idiotic design that only exists for cost cutting, should have built those scary cooling towers and a couple dams to have reserves:)

And fire! Don't forget all that extra fire we have baked into the climate until our extinction 🔥🫠🔥

But, no one knows how to do that...

Geez if our nuclear power plants don't have enough water, then I guess people will just have to stop washing their cars or clothes or dishes... or maybe even themselves. Because everyone knows that our precious hardware is vastly more important than humans. #sarcasm, in case you weren't sure.
