The point here wasn't at all a dunk on the Orioles, but a good reminder that the trades that aren't consuming a lot of folks this time of year can be impactful.

I think sometimes we forget that the idea is usually for a trade to be mutually beneficial. W/o Baker the pen is middle of the pack on the year but 4th in pen ERA since June 1st. The rotation without Baz’s 3.13 ERA over the past 13 starts the rotation wouldn’t be mid-pack overall/6th best since 5/23
