As a member of the Park Slope Food Coop I can categorically state this is a GREAT use of govt power, short & long term. 1. NYers go hungry bec they can't afford food. 2. For-profit grocery stores are gouging customers. 3. PSFC is a huge success, financially. 4. Non-profit coops are the future.
