True my origin story of meeting an opabiniid worker was incredibly embarrassing. It was my PhD interview with Derek Briggs (of Anomalocaris fame, also became my advisor). I uh told him I was a fangirl and that I had plush Opabinia. I didn't bring it to interview but could see him cringing lol
