To talk about the late Anne Widdecome as a politician is ridiculous. She was a very minor Tory politician a long time ago. Of course, she shouldn't have been violently attacked, let alone killed. But anyone who targeted her for political reasons, must have been deranged as she was harmless. 2/2

I shall never forget the image of her and her fellow Brexit party members standing in the European Parliament and deliberately and ostentatiously turning their backs on a youth orchestra who were playing the 4th movement of Beethoven's 9th. What a nasty and rude thing to do.
