Guy OronSources at City Hall are saying that Mayor Katie Wilson has just fired Seattle Police Department Chief Shon Barnes. This comes just days after the Bite of Seattle mass shooting, when Barnes was out of town at a conference. Barnes has been criticized for his frequent out of town trips.
