So, yes following my conversation with Cllr Andre Chabot I believe he thinks *his time* is more valuable than mine, yours, and every other Calgarian who uses transit - by choice or by default. Thank goodness city councillors aren’t paid by the hour like some of us. 6/

I have said it before, I will say it again. Every single councillor and the mayor should be required to take transit from their residence in their ward to work (i.e.: City Hall) once per week. Calgary Transit will better for all Calgarians when the decision makers use the services of the city. 7/

If we’re going to be a city of 2 million people, we need to run transit services 24 hours, 7 days per week to serve the people who work to build this city’s prosperity. We can do it during Stampede, we can do it during the other 355 days of the year. Tax payers are asking for increased service. 8/

And let’s do some gender-based analysis on Calgary Transit, the users, and our approaches to transit. I’m not sure the dudes on city council are making decisions reflective of the full plurality of Calgary. And let’s put some winter tires on the buses, too. Drive to conditions, you know. 9/
