We, allegedly, can't afford to look after vulnerable people. Now, it seems, we can't afford to 'do' science, or to teach our people about the universe we live in. Should we all just go and live in a cave? Or ask those who can afford it to contribute a bit more in tax? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
