The most hypocritical part of trying to ban duplexes in Altadena is that ADUs will still be allowed (two if AB 956 passes). The homeowner quoted in the article has an ADU and plans on RENTING IT OUT once his home is rebuilt. But don't call him a "predatory developer" - he's a sainted homeowner.
