Ben TowleI reread Jesse Hamm's almost book-length essay, HAMM ON TOTH, every few years. Genuinely think it's one of the best pieces of writing on the visual aspects of comics. An appreciation of Alex Toth, but also an examination of process of learning, analysis of design, and a love letter to the art form.
