There was a tv profile about some rugby player who posts about romance novels on tiktok, during the tv piece he made up a bunch of nonsense about why boys don’t read and presented himself as the saviour cause he got a multi book deal thanks to his tiktok videos
His entire audience is woman but he presented himself as the sole voice and way for young boys to get into reading, because clearly young boys are searching for reviews for whatever the most popular booktook romance novel is every week
He also said stuff about boys need to read books by boys

It seems like his books are going to be romance so the pitch is more him trying to paint it as his book is the first ‘romance for boys’
He also said stuff about how there is no books like what he is writing, which simply can’t be true lol
