I had to stop reading at Gotcha Day. I hadn't realized that people used that as a term with other people and the ick it gave me was *intense*. I don't even like the word ick, but there isn't really another word to describe the clenching feeling of disgust I felt. Those are not my kind of parents,

but the mom deserved a chance to learn to be better and the kids deserved a chance to grow into their own people and make their own choices about their lives. What a tragedy.
