The main lesson I've learned from this whole collapse is that conservatives are unfit for power, corporate or political. Murdoch bought all the conservative media in US, Australia & England & kept the slow drip of lies for 45 years. There is no scenario where conservatives are decent people.

Our fossil fuel overlords are lying, corrupt psycopaths. Jail is too good for them. I don't believe in capital punishment, but for these kinds of crimes against humanity we need to chop their heads off and confiscate every cent of their wealth.

Nothing wrong with a genuinely agnostic approach to technology. When Germany’s government speaks of being technology-agnostic, though, they mean combustion engines, gas power plants, non-scalable bio-fuels and those hydrogen fantasies that can’t defy the second law of thermodynamics.
