Desire to demonstrate old linkages? I was thinking though, it’s such an elaborate deposition. Why isn’t the kit being passed on to an apprentice / community. Her skills seem to be dying with her.
Tools are incredibly personal things so it may be that they were hers and hers alone, perhaps acquired elsewhere.
The use of the axes is odd, but I'm guessing she found they worked for what she wanted to achieve... perhaps burnishing.
