Stargate would be insanely overpowered if it isn't balanced according to the game's systems though. Fastest ships among most major sci-fi, most powerful weapons in sci-fi (one does not simply blow up a damn sun)

Right but like, this is what they should have done from the outset. 5e is such a bare-bones system in so many ways it's practically built FOR this. Just make custom versions for different properties people are ALREADY using it for. They *should* have done this years ago.
