Or just like.. Tie the minimum wage to the cost of living index so it auto-corrects annually. Or implement a UBI (again, tied to cost-of-living index) that ensures no one needs SNAP anymore. We have a lot of solutions that don't rely on coercing corporations to do the right thing.
