I think this thread is true, but I also think that if all/most students do that (which is likely the case) and we are subject to a grading curve, the outcome is still very bad. LLM functions mostly to reduce outcome variance, even in a very well written exams.

Yeah, don't get me started on my grading curve rant now... I'm not entirely sure if it's true students are really doing this btw but I don't have the metrics to back that up. I would be curious to know!
