There is no public-interest reason to include PII. There is no public-interest reason to take all records. EHR can parse out very detailed subsets of interest for consumer protection. There is no reason to require full sets instead of sampling. All reasons for this approach are unsettling, at best.

Employers should be advised by their legal counselors that they can expect these requirements to be reinstated along about 2029, and they might want to continue to keep the data, whether they currently submit it to EEOC or not.
