there’s been a lot of rehabilitation of buckley over the years and i’m not sure why - i can come up with bad reasons ofc - because as this shows his big inaugural entry into public affairs was as a bad-faith demagogue, racist, and (barely crypto) anti-semite. he was a wrecker to his core.
