Have the aggressors been arrested yet. They need to face justice🇺🇦🇬🇧

This German here would like to remind the people of Wroclaw to treat visitors to the city of Breslau kindly.

There is an increased effort to spread fake stories about crimes of Ukrainians against Poles - e.g. recently a lot of Vietnam based accounts are doing it on Facebook and shutting the accounts down is very hard despite 100s of reports. Responsibility of big tech is something we have to regulate. /2

Sentiments against Ukrainians rose sharply during the presidential campaign last year. There is notable rise in hate crimes this year (to 180 reported cases). However there are also c. 2 million of Ukrainians in Poland and perception of violence is achievable goal even with a small number of cases/1

But have the perpetrators been arrested yet?

While Poland remains a critical logistical lifeline for Kyiv, the relationship has shifted from unconditional solidarity of 2022 to a far colder, interest-based dynamic. Hate it. A compounding mix of historical grievances, economic competition, refugee fatigue, and domestic political posturing.

In a post on Facebook, he stressed that everyone, regardless of the language they speak, has the right to feel safe in Wroclaw.   The official also addressed Polish politicians and public figures who incite anti-Ukrainian sentiments, emphasizing that their words can lead to real violence.
