My 2023 Subaru Crosstrek has a 'blind zone warning' system that detects and warns of bicyclists in the car's blind zone, but that's all it does. I still have to pay attention and look for traffic, including bicyclists and pedestrians. Shocking, I know, but at least I am able to turn my head.
