So many MEDEVAC flights in the NTSB reports. The US system to operate these is broken. Inexperienced pilots on high-energy aircraft with little help in flight planning makes for little margin when something goes wrong, with terrible consequences.
Andrew P.One reason my vocation (somewhat overly strong word) still exists. NOTAMs in and of themselves are awful. Trusting one individual to check each one is probably never a good idea, in my opinion. But also, a GPS failure shouldn’t cause a crash, for so many reasons.
