Any which way they can stop our votes (and Trump *hates* California).

Even though more people voted for him from California than anywhere other than Texas and Florida. He’s canceling all kinds of grants and disaster help based solely on “red or blue state,” while Biden prioritized the places that needed the most help. The difference between Republicans and Democrats.

What's the population of Texas? Florida? California has a population of approximately 42 million people and it's primarily a Democratic state.

What relation does that have to Trump screwing over the 6,081,697 people who VOTED FOR HIM in 2024? Along with the 10,772,887 who didn’t vote for anybody (and the rest of us, though he wishes we would all just die.) Yes it has much to do with population, but it doesn’t change my point, at all.

Because your comment seem to give the impression that 'Californians' overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump and WE didn't by a long shot. Trump only supposedly 'won' with 38% of those who voted in the 2024 election. There was only a 1.4% difference between the two candidates in the election results.

That was not my intention. Of course CA is collectively blue. My intention was to illustrate MAGA’s willful abandonment of their own voters’ needs based entirely on where they happen to be geographically.

Original post was regarding the partissn withholding of disaster relief to what they call “blue states.” But, every state is a PLURALITY EVERY state has roughly a 50/50 split of conservative vs. progressive people. So, he IS screwing over HIS VOTERS as well as “blue” elected leaders.

Exactly. Why can’t EVERY DEMOCRAT running for office say this???

Often. But they’re simply a reflection of voters’ choices, and voters’ susceptibility to propaganda. If we want better representatives we need to vote for them in primaries AND give the elected Dem candidates (even if not our preference) the backing to win seats, and the majorities to do… anything.
