Amara the giant anteater with her pup at Tanganyika Wildlife Park, located in Goddard, Kansas. The pup, born recently in 2026, is seen riding on its mother's back, a behavior common for the first 6-9 months of life. Giant anteater births are rare in North America, with only two reported in 2025.
