Also, does anyone know if Elections AB has the mandate to check for seeded names in their petition verification process? My guess is that is out of scope and they weren't specifically allowed to check for that. I would love to know the outcome if they did.

My takeaway is that’s it’s 7.5% of the electorate. Not a very big number given how much time they had to collect. Doesn’t bode well for the seppies come October.

Do we know how many were rejected? I.e., 35,000 were rejected on the Water not Coal petition. Are separatists better at handwriting or answering nameless phone calls?
