Sarah TaberSo rural employment is low-key a giant GOP patronage network. Anybody who speaks out against GOP politics stays unemployed! And/or has to leave! THAT is the real secret to GOP dominance in rural areas. It's not "messaging." It's gatekeeping livelihoods.
